Realms is and always has been a free form role playing website. We offer forum-based role playing, and chat-based role playing in a chat system that not only provides plenty of system-owned rooms, but also enables users to create their own chat rooms on the fly, allowing plenty of rich and diverse arenas for many different genres of role playing.

Our staff works hard to make sure that your role play experience here at Realms-RP is an enjoyable one. We are constantly monitoring and maintaining both our hardware and our software, sometimes visibly, sometimes not, to ensure that you have the most fun while you're here.

While we do our best to ensure that everyone obeys the small handful of rules that we have here at Realms-RP, the nature of real-time chat communication makes it impossible to monitor every single letter of every single post made in the chat room every second of the day. While most of our users are wonderful people that always follow the rules, it is inevitable that this, like every other online community, will have it's fair share of problems with unruly users. That being the case, we provide a method for users to contact our Staff in order to report such users so that we may deal with them swiftly and concisely. The Crew

Our Staff works hard to ensure that the chat runs smoothly and trouble-free. Their job is a thankless, unpaid labor of love, and they come back day after day to ensure that our users can live their characters' lives with little distraction. The job of a chat moderator is tough, and it takes a special kind of person to be able to handle it effectively and fairly. We are very selective about who gains moderator abilities in our chat, so you can bet that our Staff members are indeed the best of the best.

Bay

One half of the Dynamic Duo of Dastardly Deeds™, Bay runs things with an iron fist. Okay, not really, but he does take the well being of Realms-RP very seriously. If there is a problem with the site, he is the man you want to speak to. Respect him, otherwise he will let loose the Dogs of War upon your very soul.

Liv

The other half of the Dynamic Duo of Dastardly Deeds™, and The First Lady of Realms-RP. Liv is one of the original masterminds behind this whole endeavor. Unbeknownst to Bay, she really runs the show around here. She allows Bay to believe that he is important, but we know the truth! She's nice and sweet and carefree...unless you step out of line. If you do, may whatever Deity you believe in have mercy on you, and your computer, and your little dog too.

Dave

There once was a guy who had a dream. And then there is Dave. You won't see him much, but chances are he is probably stealthing around somewhere behind the scenes. Dave is the guy that owns the hardware that Realms-RP is housed on. He's the guy paying all the bills and constantly bugging his friend Frank to do one more code update! Nobody really knows what he does behind the scenes, but if the server crashes or the chat breaks, you can be sure that Dave will be there to pick up the pieces.

Agra

The Global Moderator who considers himself to be a brainwashed peon who thinks he's a dragon, and is constantly referred to as such by numerous others within the chat. He'd much prefer to lounge around and glance up now and again just to make a silly comment, but he's quick to seek order within the chat if the balance tips or trouble begins. We don't really know if he breathes fire or not, but rumor has it he bites! Asshats are strongly urged to avoid him at all costs.

Maay

As part of the moderation team, she watches over the chat with a quirked brow and a modicum of patience. That knot at the end of her rope? It's not there to keep her from losing it, it's there to tug on when her Boot needs to go to work. Play nice in the sandbox and you'll never find yourself on the working end of it. Our sources say that in her spare time she moonlights as a Dragon Tamer, but she isn't telling.
